Cross Based Ministries in Bungoma, Kenya, Africa

Cross Based Ministries is a spiritual caring ministry which has a target of reaching the unreached in the whole world with the gospel of the kingdom of God.

It was founded on friendship and we are now reaching many cities and villages of Kenya as well as Uganda and Tanzania. Five years have passed since we begun this work and we thank God we have managed to plant 8 churches in Kenya by now and 5 churches in Uganda. It has never been easy as these doors were hard to open. It has really cost God’s grace and we give God the Glory for everything He has done.

Our faith
We believe:

There is only one true God who is the Eternal King, Creator and Redeemer of all that is. He is perfectly Holy, Just, Loving and Truthful. He has revealed Himself to be eternally self existent, one being manifested in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

The Bible to be the inspired and the only infallible and authoritative Word of God.

Humankind was created in the image of God to know and enjoy Him, yet we willfully rejected the Lordship and Glory of God for which we were intended. Because of this, sickness, death, and judgment entered the world, and now creation experiences the effects and consequences of sin.

The Lord Jesus Christ, the one and only Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and is God's Anointed One, empowered by the Holy Spirit to inaugurate God's kingdom on earth. We are saved by God's grace, through faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ. Anyone can be restored to fellowship with God through repenting, believing and receiving Jesus as their Savior and Lord. The Holy Spirit convicts, regenerates, justifies, and adopts us as we enter the Kingdom of God as His sons and daughters. The Holy Spirit sanctifies us, indwelling us, and enables us to live holy and minister super-naturally. The baptism of the Holy Spirit according to Acts 1:4-8 and 2:4 is available to all believers that they may have the power to be witnesses for Christ Jesus.

The victorious redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides freedom from the power of the enemy; sin, lies, sickness, and torment.

The church consists of all who put their faith in Jesus Christ. He gave His Church the ordinances of Baptism and Communion.

Vision
Our vision is to reach and change the world for God by preaching and teaching the Word of God and by planting churches. We go to everywhere preaching the Word of God: on streets, markets, in the cities, and to villages. -Colossians 1.28.

We have a bible class that offers teachings and courses to pastors and leaders to equip them for good leadership in the field. -Acts.17.11

God’s work (what we do)
We work with our own hands in order to support the work of God, helping the needy, widows and Orphans. We have our first Children’s Home and we thank God for His love to the fatherless kids.

Water Projects
We dig water wells in villages to provide water for the villagers who walk a long distance fetching water from rivers. We serve hundreds of villagers with the water projects we provide for them.

Other Projects
We are constantly striving to better the condition and environment of the people here in Kenya and other republics of Africa. As you see the bricks project is another task we have taken.
